seven-11 store Here's a nifty find for vintage radio collectors or retro table radio fanatics, a NICE, classic Zenith model X334 Long Distance AM/FM wood case radio that I think dates from the 1960's. The radio is in what I would rate as good condition, the case still is pretty clean and looks nice, and the radio and lighted tuning dial WORK and once it warms up, it sounds good too! The case does not have any significant damage, there are some nicks, scuffs and scratches and a couple small areas of discoloration on the wood, but it doesn't look too bad for the age. It could stand a bit more clean-up work, as it was a little dirty when I got it and all I did was wipe it down with some furniture polish. The dial face is good and still clear, but the bezel and plastic chrome dials show some age and wear. The radio takes a minute or so to "warm up", but once it does it sounds good and seems to tune in stations pretty good. A neat-o vintage radio, perfect for fans of retro design, plus it's FUNCTIONAL. The cord and plug look good and are undamaged. I rate it as good, but it is not "minty fresh", it is USED, so it may not be mint or flawless, but looks good to me. You'll get exactly what is pictured, remember this is vintage and has been used, so it is sold strictly AS IS in as found condition. Could be a great way to expand your collection.
