I am offering for sale this very cool 1950s vintage Slingerland Radio King Black Diamond Pearl with calf skin heads, the original heads. This set is a definately a great vintage swing set. This slingerland set has the original Calf skin heads. One is torn, as shown, look at photos. This set is from Motown. It was stamped on the inside 'restored' at the FAMOUS 'Drum Shop' in Detroit, Michigan, owned by Dave Hamilton. Please look at the photos for the restoration details on the inside of the drums. This set is a famous Motown set. The beavertail lugs are interesting. There are 3 original lugs that are cracked, there are lugs that are new old stock vintage that are perfect condition, and there are vintage 1960s lugs that are newer then the original 1950s ones that are in very good condition, See photos. Good condition, look at the photos and click on zoom to see details of these rare drums. These are 13", 16", and 22 inches. These are round and no cracks no breakage in the Black diamond pearl.
