Vintage 1950′s Original Zenith Trans Oceanic Leather Surface Black Tube Radio

Vintage original from 1950 or 1951, Zenith "Trans - Oceanic" tube radio. Has what appears to be a factory black leather surface over wood for the case. Very tall heavy duty telescoping antenna. I can't find the model number anywhere on the radio but a factory label states: 5G40. Everything is original and does not look to have been modified in any way. The power cord has bare wire showing and is very brittle in many areas and thus could not plug it in to test it since it seems it would be a hazard with the condition of the power cord. It may or may not work once the power cord is replaced. It is in good physical condition except it is dirty and needs a cleaning inside and out. There are no cracks, dings or damages noticed on the case except for maybe some surface fading in some areas plus the outer and inner metal parts have some surface rusting. There is two metal snap buttons on the inside back panel that has something on one metal snap button but nothing attached to the other metal snap button. Radio is sold in "As-Is" condition.
