The Advent 400 is one of 3 of my favorite radios built in the late 70's...& early 80's. The 3rd one is the classic KLH model 21 built in the 60's. The proton 300 is another favorite that I like to restore. The Advent 400 is unique in that it is a separate tuner/amp & a separate acoustic suspension speaker by Henry Kloss with a sound that cannot be matched by any other radio except the Proton 300 & KLH model 21. This Advent 400 is pure white after the restoration...please view all my pictures! When they were manufactured the plastic that was used would yellow in a few years. This is cosmetically perfect as well as electrically perfect!
